Pile tests are often required to confirm the bearing capacity and integrity of deep foundations before further construction above ground is undertaken. Pile testing is an effective and reliable, non-destructive method of identifying any anomalies within the piles.

Pile testing is especially important given the majority of the pile is embedded into the founding soil, making visual inspection impractical. Different types of pile testing can be undertaken to verify a piles’ integrity and strength.
