Timber Retaining Walls
Timber pole and rail retaining walls are a cost-effective retaining option which can be aesthetically pleasing when constructed well.
Construction usually involves battering back the area, drilling to depth and concreting in the timber poles. Whalers are installed after the concrete is set, then drainage material is used behind the wall to engineers’ specifications. The top-down construction method is used when ground conditions dictate it.
Spiral Drillers are able to provide timber pole only installation or complete full retaining wall construction.
