Stage One of this project consisted of driving in 61 x 9 metre and 14.5 metre long H-Beams with our 65 ton Crawler Crane and Vibro, for two separate retaining walls. After completing the first stage of works, we demobilised from site to enable ENGAS to prepare the site for the second stage.
Stage Two involved us re-establishing onsite and installing 105 x Screw Piles up to 30 metres deep, for the main building foundations. The use of an extended beak enabled our team to pitch and weld full length pipes, with a ground clearance of 13 metres (the height of an average 4 story building).
Screw pile fabrication in our Spiral Drury yard kept up with site progress to enable seamless installation of the piles. Our Spiral Team on site managed a tight access area, with scheduled deliveries and a piling sequence as to not lose access to piles. A great effort by the Spiral Team on a challenging, small and multi levelled site. This was a successful project for all involved.
