About Spiral Drillers
Spiral Drillers was founded in 1971, And as with so many kiwi businesses, the growth of Spiral Drillers began with one enthusiastic man and his wife, Brian and Dorothy Hannah. The business expanded as the small company gained in reputation and Brian saw opportunities to provide a better service and superior end product.
With the growth of the company now under Andrew Hannah and Jon Faber's leadership the emphasis is on difficult, large or specialised drilling and piling applications.
A key factor in the companies’ growth and success has been innovation. Unlike other piling foundation contractors, when confronted with a major on-site obstacle the company often responds by designing and constructing its own specialised equipment to do the job. It is clear that the "Kiwi ingenuity” which built this country is well and truly alive in the Spiral Drillers team.
Spiral Drillers now covers all of New Zealand but concentrates mainly on the Auckland and Waikato area. They will travel for specialist projects in Wellington, Tauranga, Hamilton, Whangarei, Taupo, New Plymouth, Rotorua, Bay of Plenty, Napier, Hastings, Whanganui, Palmerston North, Hauraki, Northland, Otorohanga, Ruapehu, Waitomo, Thames, Franklin, Rodney, Waitakere, and anywhere else I can think of!
